Rebranding a world-renowned rehabilitation hospital specializing in neuro-rehabilitation and research of patients with spinal cord injury (SCI) and traumatic brain injury (TBI).

If you’re lucky to be in the business we’re in for long enough, you get the opportunity to work on a project that changes you and leaves you thinking about relationships, struggle, triumph, and this journey we call “life” a bit differently. Domoto Brands is grateful that we’ve had the opportunity to work with Craig Hospital for exactly these reasons and a plethora of others.

Working side-by-side with our esteemed colleague, strategist Jung Park, as well as the Craig team, Domoto Brands embarked on a comprehensive journey to rebrand Craig for the first time since the 1970s. Undertaking such a responsibility requires a great deal of engagement and we had the privilege to talk with and, more importantly, listen to leadership, staff, patients, families, community members, and other stakeholders crucial to fostering our understanding of Craig’s history and the importance of the hospital’s work across the state of Colorado, the nation, and the world.

Following a comprehensive research, analysis, strategy, and design process, a new brand identity, mission statement, tagline, visual motif, brand standards, signage, and internal/external touch points were launched in 2016. Domoto continues to work with the Craig team, appreciative of the value they’ve contributed to our lives by allowing us to be part of theirs.
